Each year, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) individual eligible professionals (EPs) and PQRS group practices receive feedback reports on whether they satisfactorily reported and if they are subject to the future negative payment adjustment. Note that program participation during a calendar year will affect payments after two years (i. e. , 2016 program participation affects 2018 payments). Incentive payments for PQRS were only authorized through program year 2014; feedback reports for program years 2007-2014 indicated incentive eligibility.

Helios Acquires Ringler® Medicare Solutions (RMS) from Ringler Associates

Fee Schedules

 Announcements The 3% fee reduction in accordance with North Carolina Session Law 2013-360, Section 12H. 18(b) was implemented on March 2, 2015. The reduction was announced in the January, 2014 Medicaid Bulletin article titled3 Percent Rate Reduction. 3% rate reduction for Primary Care Physician who attested for Affordable Care Act (ACA) Enhanced Payments Subject to the 3% fee reduction enacted under Session Law 2013 – 360 The reduction was effective Jan. 1, 2015 and was implemented March 2, 2015. NCTracks will reprocess claims from Jan. 1, 2015 through March 1, 2015 at a later date.

State Health Benefits Program

The State Health Benefits Program(SHBP) and the School Employees' Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) The State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) was established in 1961. It offers medical and prescription drug coverage to qualified State and local government public employees, retirees, and eligible dependents; and dental coverage to qualified State and local government/education public employees, retirees, and their eligible dependents. Local employers must adopt a resolution to participate in the SHBP. The State Health Benefits Commission (SHBC) is the executive organization responsible for overseeing the SHBP.

When State Farm Insurance announced its telematics-based roadside assistance program, everyone said OnStar had gained a new competitor. What didn’t get as much attention, however, is that the insurance company also opened an electronic window into your driving habits. Below is a list of frequently asked questions, asked by you, our retirees. No one is required to use the OPERS Medicare Connector. However, retirees who do not use the Connector to enroll in a medical plan will not be eligible to receive an HRA allowance from OPERS. Yes. However, the retiree will not receive an HRA allowance from OPERS. Yes. Using the OPERS Medicare Connector resources will help them access reasonably priced health care plans. It is important to note that one plan offered has $0 premium. While this plan has higher out-of-pocket and point of service costs, it does serve as a very affordable option for many retirees.
